Reuse in Buckinghamshire

In Buckinghamshire there are two Reuse shops, located at Aston Clinton and High Wycombe. Despite the location of the shops, you can still make donations for reuse at all ten of our Household Recycling Centres

Items donated to the two Reuse shops are accepted on behalf of South Bucks Hospice, items donated will help raise funds for individuals living with, or affected by a life-limiting or threatening illness. How good does that feel? To help those in need and at the same time, help our planet.

Waste is always on the rise, with populations and communities constantly growing, with this in mind we need to prioritise reuse. When we speak about reuse, we don't just solely mean donating items to our shops, the impact of reuse is still widely acknowledged when handing items to family members or friends, or using reselling sites such as Ebay, Vinted and Depop.

There are a range of items you can donate at the Reuse shops including hoovers (even branded, like Henry), flat screen TVs and laptops, power tools, bikes (including parts or those that are no longer at their best), garden furniture and garden items such as barbecues and ornaments, children's toys and antiques.

South Bucks Hospice also have shops at several locations in Buckinghamshire, you can find these shops in Amersham, Bourne End, Chalfont, Hazlemere and Waddesdon. All these High Street shops are open Monday-Saturday. If for whatever reason you can't donate to the hospice through your local Household Recycling Centre, you can donate your goods directly to the shop.

Please note, unfortunately there are some items that cannot be accepted for donation on behalf of the hospice. The items not appropriate for donation can be found on the South Bucks Hospice website.
