What goes in each bin?

It's important we get the right items in the recycling; luckily most common recyclable items can be put in your recycling bin or box at home in Buckinghamshire. Such as
- Plastic pots, tubs, trays and bottles including:
- Meat trays
- Fruit punnets
- Pots e.g. yoghurt and soup
- Tubs e.g butter/margarine, ice cream
- Dishwasher tablet and washing capsule tubs
- bottles such as squash, cleaning and shampoo
- Paper
- Cardboard
- Cartons (juice, soup etc)
- Cans
- Glass
- Foil (scrunched together to approx. the size of a tennis ball)
There are some variations in Buckinghamshire (like the colour of your bins), depending on where you live.
If you live in the South of the County (High Wycombe, Chiltern, South Bucks) find out more details about what to put in each bin, including recycling in our handy guide.
If you live in the North of the County (Aylesbury Vale) find out more details about what to put in each bin, including recycling in our handy guide.
You can check your bin day, if needed.
