Did you know that Walking aids, such as walking sticks, frames, rollators and crutches, can be safely refurbished and reused repeatedly? Once you or a family member have finished with the item you ca contact the team that supplied the item to find out how to return it. 

All used walking aids should be returned to an official drop-off points. In Buckinghamshire there are drop off points at Amersham, Stoke Mandeville & High Wycombe hospitals. You can also drop off items at any of the ten household recycling centres in the County. They will be inspected to ensure they are safe for reuse. They will then be cleaned and passed onto a new user.

All walking aids that are unsafe for reuse will be recycled. Damaged and broken items will be accepted for recycling.
